It’s that time of year again… As well as all the chocolate eggs you’re going to HAVE to consume, you’ve also got the kids home for 2 weeks and they’re going to NEED entertaining!
We’ve selected our pick of the EASIEST crafts to keep the little ones out of trouble this Easter HOLIDAY Mums…
1. Paper Plate Hulk Mask from Crafts on Sea
We’re big fans of Kate’s easy SUPERHERO themed crafts (see her Thor helmet here) and so are our kids!
While you’ll be there to help with some of the fiddly bits and the CUTTING, your little one can do a lot of this independently and at the same time encourage DEVELOPMENT of some key skills!
2. Pineapple Easter Eggs from Studio DIY
These super COOL pineapple Easter eggs are a unique take on CLASSIC egg-themed crafts you may have seen a lot of lately.
We think they look like great FUN to make and would be fab all year round! Why not get creative by DRAWING some designs on the eggs with a GOLD pen once the paint is dry?
3. Pom Pom Chicks from Crafts Unleashed
These Pom Pom CHICKS have to be the cutest craft of them all. Not just for Easter, these are IDEAL for you and the kids to make together.
You could try using different COLOURED yarns to make a whole family of PRETTY pastel chicks or get really experimental and try making different little ANIMALS too.
4. Double Doodle Art from The Artful Parent
While more of an art PROJECT than a craft, this unique double doodle idea is PERFECT for school holidays as it exercises the BRAIN by using both sides simultaneously.
All you’ll need is some paper and some PENS and to let your imaginations run free. There’s no LIMIT to how much you can get out of this activity!
5. Washi Tape Bracelet from Art Bar Blog
If you’re anything like us then you’ll have a draw full of pretty TAPES and crafty bits and pieces but not much idea on what to do with them.
Well Art Bar Blog has a great answer for you! All you’ll need is duct tape, washi tapes and SCISSORS and there shouldn’t be much for you to clear up.
…Let the kids go to TOWN with their designs while you sit back and relax.
